“Thy Kingdom Come…..”
These words trip off the tongue as lightly as they have done since first we learned to say ‘The Lord’s Prayer’
In 2016 the Archbishops of York and Canterbury invited Anglicans to use the days between The Ascension and Pentecost to pray for the renewing power of the Holy Spirit to empower the church for evangelism. Since then THY KINGDOM COME has captured the imaginations of millions of Christians in 114 countries as the idea has spread globally.
The Methodist Church has published a little booklet of suitable prayers, readings and thoughts. We have sent for supplies and these should arrive by May 30th for use until 9th June. More details are in the booklets.
